Facts about the formation of the Romanian language Volume 2

A theologian and philologist of Romanian language at the University of Bucharest and a doctoral student at the Faculty of Theology of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Juliana Eni Tsugui has been engaged for many years in research on the formation of the Romanian language. The Romanian language is a mystery linked to the mystery of the formation of the Romanian people and to the mystery of the transmission of Christianity. The Romanian language derives from the Scytho-Dacco-Gothic vernacular and the oral vernacular Latin of the Roman colonists and is gradually enriched by Greek and Slavic languages thanks to Christianity of Eastern origin. It is the only directly preserved language of oral Latin, which has prevailed uninterruptedly in the Danubian provinces since the period of the Roman Empire. The pedestal, morphology, grammar, syntax and elementary structure of the vocabulary of the Romanian language are of Latin origin. In the course of time, Romanians have used various alphabets for writing their texts, such as: the Latin, Greek, Glangolithic, Old Slavonic, Transitional (Cyrillic-Latin) and finally Latin again until today.
