This book is based on the research of herbs, waters, earth and animals of the ancient physician and pharmacist Dioscorides as recorded in his work “De Materia Medica” (On the Matter of Medicine), but also on the author’s infinite laboratory experiments.

One could say that Dimitris Kallimanis received a “mystical” teaching from Dioscorides and then ran to the mountains and listened to the herbs of Greek nature explain to him how they heal and beautify the human body.

He mixed all this knowledge with beeswax, the running waters of Greece, wine and rocks and created pure, clean and effective therapeutic and cosmetic preparations.
