Gerakina and the well. Theatrical

A theatrical, not accidental. A play based on a fairy tale: “Hawk’s Well”.
I started reading the play first and then the story. A little backwards. The central theme in the whole structure of the play is love.
An element often found in short stories, novels, folk tales and
fairy tales. The emotion that possesses ordinary people, peasants, but also rulers, kings and politicians in any era. For emotion knows no place, no time. It has no colour, no age. It has no beginning and no end. It simply guides you, floods your thoughts and your whole being.
Key elements of the play: fast-paced plot and roles that pleasantly surprise you. Straightforward, simple language that connects the language of yesterday and today. Protagonists: two young children from different backgrounds, the king’s daughter and the peasant. Will this difference be enough to stand in the way of the two young people’s love? Will the perceptions of the time extinguish the passion of the first young love?
