The growls now sounded louder and fiercer and Theseus followed the sound that would lead him to the monster. The muse’s words would not leave his mind as he walked on and drew closer:
“The true man is the one who has control of his breath. If you can’t control your breath, you can’t control anything!”
Through the exciting adventure of Theseus and the Minotaur, you too will discover the power of your breath. By following the story, you too will learn the secrets of life and breathing that Muse taught Theseus.
Konstantinos Pavlovich Butayko devoted his life to the study of the human body and made one of the greatest discoveries in the history of medical science.
Through years of clinical research he demonstrated the value of breathing in human health. His method was officially recognized after a test conducted in 1980 at the First Institute of Pediatric Diseases in Moscow, under the direction of the State Committee for Science and Technology.
The exercises described in the book are based on the work of this great doctor and researcher.
