“Factor” in Physical Education. Theoretical approaches and practical concerns

This text addresses practical and theoretical issues of physical education and sport using force theory as a holistic meta-theory, original examples and simplifying mathematical models of physical education pedagogy. In this way, an attempt is made to connect thoughts arising from theory with concerns arising from practice. The text focuses, among other things, on key issues of conceptualization and phenomena of social power, on the question of ‘revealing’ or ‘constructing’ an athlete, on so-called ‘aristocratic’ and ‘popular’ sports, on aggression, on discipline, on adult education. It presents educational examples of the use of allegory and analyses of popular films related to physical education.
