The book was written for the student, the teacher, the coach, the administrative agent and the fan. The previous work “Sport Coaching in Handball, Theory and Methodology” was essentially a scholarly work and the author has rewritten the work as a coaching and teaching guide to make it accessible to a wider readership. A difficult task that the author hopes to have accomplished.

What’s new in this book?

Added an exercise list to the Technical and Tactical objects with the logic of the stages of completion from the very general and playful one, which is for the training levels, to the competitive exercise. The list of exercises added per stage is indicative. Anyone can add whatever else they wish. The chapter on Load, Physical Conditioning and Training Planning has been completely rewritten based on new scientific research. An important element of the book is the reference to fitness training in childhood. On the subject of tactics, the book focuses on the critical point of the modern development trends, world handball in our time. In summary, the dominant tactical form is individual tactics, offensive and anticipatory defense and offensive activity behind the 9m, powerful long shots, fakes and shots of varying execution, vertical and long diagonal passing. Finally, a chapter on the assessment of physical fitness was added.
